Natural Health Center's Annual Health Fair 2017!

We will be holding our annual Health Fair on October 30th and 31st, 2017 from 8:00am-12:00pm.

The Natural Health Center is offering discounted blood draws and a complimentary consultation with one of their doctors to review your lab results.

There is no appointment needed to have your blood drawn, and your complimentary report of findings will be scheduled when you come in for your draw.

We welcome walk-ins between 8:00am-12:00pm for blood draws only.

You will need to fast, no food or drink besides water, for at least 12 hours prior to coming in to have your blood drawn.

The fees are as follows:

CBC $10.00 Complete Blood Count
What is the complete blood count test (CBC)? The complete blood count (CBC) is one of the most commonly ordered blood tests. The complete blood count is the calculation of the cellular (formed elements) of blood. These calculations are generally determined by special machines that analyze the different components of blood in less than a minute. A major portion of the complete blood count is the measure of the concentration of white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets in the blood.

CMP $10.00 Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
What is the CMP? It's a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) is a blood test that measures your sugar (glucose) level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney, and liver function.

Lipid $10.00
What is a Lipid Panel? A lipid panel is a blood test that measures lipids-fats and fatty substances used as a source of energy by your body. Lipids include cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL).

TSH $10.00
What is a TSH blood test? Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) blood test is used to check for thyroid gland problems. TSH is produced when the hypothalamus releases a substance called thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH).

Vitamin D $30.00
What is a Vitamin D blood test? A Vitamin D blood test measures the amount of vitamin D in your blood and is the only way to know if you’re getting enough vitamin D and whether you may need to take supplements or expose your skin to the sun more.

HCV, Antibody $20.00
What is a HCV, Antibody blood test?  Hepatitis C virus (HCV) test is a blood test that looks for the genetic material (RNA) of the virus that causes hepatitis or for the proteins (antibodies) the body makes against HCV. These proteins will be present in your blood if you have a hepatitis C infection now or have had one in the past. It is important to identify the type of hepatitis virus causing the infection, to prevent its spread and choose the proper treatment.

Ferritin $20.00
What is a Ferritin blood test? A ferritin blood test checks the amount of ferritin in the blood. Ferritin is a protein in the body that binds to iron; most of the iron stored in the body is bound to ferritin. Ferritin is found in the liver spleen, skeletal muscles, and bone marrow. Only a small amount of ferritin is found in the blood. The amount of ferritin in the blood shows how much iron is stored in your body.

GlycoHb $20.00
What is a GlycoHb blood test? A glycohemoglobin test, or hemoglobin A1c, is a blood test that checks the amount of sugar (glucose) bound to the hemoglobin in the red blood cells. When hemoglobin and glucose bond, a coat of sugar forms on the hemoglobin. That coat gets thicker when there's more sugar in the blood. A1c tests measure how thick that coat has been over the past 3 months, which is how long a red blood cell lives. People who have diabetes or other conditions that increase their blood glucose levels have more glycohemoglobin (sugar bound to hemoglobin) than normal.

PSA $18.00
What is a PSA blood test? The PSA test is a blood test used primarily to screen for prostate cancer. The test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood. PSA is a protein produced by both cancerous and noncancerous tissue in the prostate, a small gland that sits below a man's bladder.
